The Lionel Collectors Club of America is thrilled to announce the update and release of three cornerstone collections in our Digital Archives: the complete four‑volume Holtmann Consumer Catalog Archives (1900–1995), the fully restored Osterhoff Postwar Instruction Sheets Volumes 1–4, and the complete run of Lionel Consumer Catalogs from 1996–2010. Together, these releases span more than a century of Lionel history, now presented with crisp digital reproduction, standardized navigation, and a clean, modern interface designed for effortless exploration.
As we continue our multi‑phase restoration project, please note that additional sections of the Digital Archives remain under construction and will return to the website as each collection is finalized. Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm as we rebuild this museum‑grade resource for all Lionel enthusiasts.
It is June, and you know what that means...it’s time to start getting your Christmas model train photos ready for the annual cover photo contest! You could have one of your treasured family Christmas train photos featured on the cover of The Lion Roars or InterChange Track (IT) magazine. The best color submission will appear on the December cover of The Lion Roars, while the best black-and-white shot will be featured on IT. Winners will each receive a 2026 LCCA Christmas car and may only win in one category.
Start digging through those old family albums and slide trays for treasured photos of you and/or your family members with model trains running around the Christmas tree. We welcome black-and-white or color prints, color slides, or high-resolution* digital images, as long as the subject includes model trains and Christmas décor.
