Moms and Kids Drawing Class with Angela!
Angela Trotta Thomas (RM 13961) will be hosting a special drawing class for all Moms and Kids attendees—and Dads are welcome too! The class will take place at the same time as the Lionel Meeting and Seminar.
Angela has something unique planned, inspired by her latest painting, Well Stocked Shelves 2, which is pictured here. Participants in the drawing class will receive pre-printed drawings of an engine and lettering. They’ll then design their own background to create a personalized Lionel catalog cover! Whether it's a cityscape, farm, space scene, or anything their imagination dreams up, it’s all up to them. Colored pencils will be provided.
The class is scheduled for Friday, July 25th, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Angela’s newest painting, Well Stocked Shelves 2, is featured in Lionel’s 125th Anniversary catalog on a vibrant boxcar. It will also be released as a limited-edition print—only 25 signed and numbered Artist Proofs—available at a special convention show price during the Scranton convention.
In addition, Angela will be donating an original painting created specifically for this year’s silent auction.
A Scranton native, Angela has collaborated on many projects with Steamtown Museum over the years. This convention is especially meaningful to her, and she looks forward to seeing everyone in Scranton this July!
