Home Layout Video of LCCA Member Andy Dubill RM 40209

Take a tour of Andy Dubill's home layout which is featured in the February 2021 issue of 'The Lion Roars'.  Andy returned to model railroading in 2002 after a hiatus of 42 years.  Andy also remains active in the Boy Scouts and his layout features an old Boy Scout camp as a centerpiece.

The layout was started in 2002 and is intended to represent a Lionel toy train layout from the 1950's.  Andy focuses mostly on Lionel but trains and accessories from other manufacturers are represented.  While never really finished, at 16 feet by 20 feet it has over 250 feet of ballasted track  and can handle three trains at one time.   The layout runs over tubular track using  conventional control with several LionChief+ trains that are powered by seven Postwar Lionel ZW transformers.  Andy and his wife Sue enjoy all that model trains and the LCCA has to offer.
