LCCA Members Gather at Smokey Bones Restaurant York PA (Oct 17) recap

Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) members, family and friends from cities all around the country gathered together for a casual evening on Wednesday 10-17-12 at Smokey Bones Restaurant and Bar in York, PA.  This Dutch Treat event started at 6:30 PM and lasted well into the evening.  This event was a great opportunity for our fellow members to get together, share in some laughs and catch up with each other's lives, just prior to the busy and hectic holiday season.

LCCA members met with LCCA President Dennis DeVito and other members of the LCCA Board of Directors and volunteers.  Members came from as far away as Texas, Colorado  and California just to be there.  We really appreciate our members traveling to be there and making this a very enjoyable and relaxing evening.  We know we all had F. U. N!

A highlight of the evening was when President Dennis DeVito unveiled the first delivery units of the LCCA pair of "150th Anniversary General Engines" commemorating the 150th year anniversary of the Great Train Chase.  The Generals started to ship to members on 10/23.  If you ordered one, be on the lookout for it.  President DeVito also had production samples of our new O-Gauge Terrific Tin plate set.  Our members provided us with overwhelming positive responses.  They love it!  It will be well worth the wait.

Thank you to our friends and fellow members for gathering together to make this LCCA event so special.  It is you, our members that make the LCCA such a wonderful club and experience!  We appreciate your continued support and participation.

Remember, as part of the LCCA Special Events program, LCCA President Dennis DeVito has set the goal to reach out and meet with 2,200 LCCA members during the next 12 months. We encourage you to participate, bring your entire family and attend these LCCA special events.
