Changes in convention tours 3/18 and Tour 15

We have been notified by our venues of time and itinerary changes for Tours # 3 & # 18. The second floor of the Tennessee State Capitol Building is under restoration at this time, and we will not be able to visit there. We will still have access to the 1st floor where most of the tour takes place. Also, our Tour # 15 has a slight change as the venue pushed back the opening time at the civil war homes we will be visiting. more

LCCA 2020 Convention to be held in Omaha, Nebraska cancelled.

Due to the worldwide pandemic created by the Covid-19 virus, the club’s leadership has elected not to go forward with this year’s convention, scheduled for July 19 through July 25, 2020. After reviewing all of the relevant facts and health concerns involving large gatherings and the potential to expose our members to the virus, the board of directors decided to cancel the event effective immediately. more

Airports and Airlines Serving Omaha and Hotel Shuttle Availability

Omaha is served by the Omaha airport (Eppley Airfield - OMA). OMA is served by most major airlines. The Hotel does have a shuttle service that runs from the hotel to Eppley airport and back. The shuttle leaves the hotel on the hour and on the half hour. more

Airports and Airlines Serving Concord.

Concord is served by both Charolotte International Airport (CLT) and a smaller regional airport, Concord-Padgett (JQF). CLT is serviced by most major airlines, while Allegiant Air flies into Concord-Padgett. more

LCCA 53rd Annual Convention will be held in Concord the home of Lionel

The LCCA 53rd National Convention will be held in Concord, NC, the home of Lionel, July 24-29, 2023. Lionel has said they are excited to have LCCA members visit in Concord, not only because they don’t have to travel to another city for their seminar and presentation, but because they are genuinely excited about our visit. They are eager to share all things Lionel with LCCA members and convention attendees. more

With Tour 1 scheduled for Monday July 15 completely sold out, Tour 1B has been announced as an alternative. more

Update on Reno Tour 1 - First Phase Sold Out - More seats to come

Just received word that we have completely sold out on Reno Tour 1 - the Carson City State Railroad Museum, Virginia And Truckee Train Ride and the Virginia City Piper Opera House. Dienzel is working with the folks in Reno to develop and establish a similar tour 1B. more
