8/2/2022 - LCCA focuses on Concord! Concord NC is just 25 miles north of Charolette NC. Concord, NC is the home of Lionel, LLC and their facility is 5 miles from the host hotel. Even closer to the hotel is the Charlotte Motor Speedway, one of the more popular Motorsport tracks in the country. Many racing teams are located in or near Charlotte.

7/30/2022 - Nashville Convention is a resounding success by all measures. Nashville was one of the highest attended LCCA conventions with over 310 registered members (most brought friends/family) and an estimated total attendance of over 600. The convention hosted over 1,640 room nights, 2,300 tour seats, had 108 LCCA Layout modules in the lobby (expected 80) and over 75 vendor tables. It is easy to claim success just looking at numbers, but the attendee feedback was overwhelmingly positive. All convention facets operated exceedingly well, from the large modular layouts, Registration, the store, the Get Acquainted party, the trading hall, the banquet and banquet auction, and so much more. The Sunday extended train ride and the remaining 14 tours around Nashville went smoothly with an occasional hiccup. The many guitar picks and pins, the convention car and on-site cars were some of the many mementos members brought home after a successful and pleasant week in Nashville.
