LCCA 2020 Convention to be held in Omaha, Nebraska cancelled.

Due to the worldwide pandemic created by the Covid-19 virus, the club’s leadership has elected not to go forward with this year’s convention, scheduled for July 19 through July 25, 2020.  After reviewing all of the relevant facts and health concerns involving large gatherings and the potential to expose our members to the virus, the board of directors decided to cancel the event effective immediately.

Members who have registered for the convention will be contacted by the LCCA business office to arrange a refund.  Please do not call the LCCA business office.  Cathy Rios will be in contact with each registrant to assist you with the refund process.

This year’s convention was to be a celebration of the club’s 50th anniversary and Lionel Trains' 120th anniversary.  Once the current health crisis abates, we look forward to many future gatherings!  Be sure to stay tuned to the LCCA website, our periodic e-blasts and Facebook posts for details about upcoming events.  With our Lionel friends, we are planning some super Special Events (yes! they will be socially distanced).  And mark your calendars for the July 18 through 24, 2021 convention in Scranton, PA. as we celebrate 50+1! Our convention planners promise this will be the best convention ever.
