LCCA Announces 2014 Convention Car - the 'Monon Magic' Operating Boxcar
The LCCA announces its 44th Annual Convention Car to celebrate its 2014 Convention in Indianapolis, IN (July 20-26). This majestic car is an updated deco'ed model of the Monon operating Boxcar - this time in Blue and Gold.
This Monon operating box car will be packaged in a box bearing the limited edition Conventional Classic Decor by Lionel with arch bar trucks. This boxcar of a venerable railroad's proud of its presence in Indiana. Indiana will host the LCCA 2014 Convention in Indianapolis.
The LCCA has enhanced this purchase by Including is the new style billboard frame molded in matching blue. Members who purchase this car will also get sheet of three Billboard inserts, one will be personalized with your name. Members will also receive a special LCCA commemorative pin.
This O-gauge car is made exclusively by Lionel LLC for the LCCA. This box car is the last LCCA-Sponsored product designed by the late Lou Caponi, who served as LCCA's Manager of Product Development and a former President of the club.
