The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) had a phenomenal 42nd annual Convention in Norfolk VA, last summer.   The LCCA is going back to Norfolk VA this Spring for a Special Charity Event.  On Saturday, May 4, 2013, the LCCA and Paul Sharp will host a Special Fundraiser Charity Event to benefit the Trains of Thought Center Project being run by the Norfolk Initiative for Chess Excellence (NICE), Norfolk, VA. The center is being created in a 1920 trolley-train station in Norfolk where at-risk and disabled children will learn about science, technology, engineering and math via the use of Lionel trains and chess. This May 4th event will feature a theme of model railroading and arcade games at Paul Sharp's personal residence in downtown Norfolk.   We will be providing further event details and announcements on this website www.lionelcollectors.org.  Please mark this date on your calendar.   This will be a fun event for the entire family and help out a worthwhile cause.  To learn more about NICE please visit their website at www.NiceChess.net
