LCCA at Lionel's Customer Service Center 2011 Open House Special Event

In August of 2011, Lionel hosted an open house event at their customer service center in Canfield, Ohio. Lionel's customer Service Manager Mike Reagan along with Tom Nuzzo opened their operation up to the general public and to fellow Lionel Collectors Club of America's members.

LCCA members and guests had a behind the scenes view of Lionel Customer service and repair operations. Lionel has hundreds of thousands of service parts including shells from their more recent products. Members had an opportunity to view Lionel's operating test track where all of the engine repairs are fully tested before being sent back to their customers. Ed Boyle and Allan Miller of OGR Magazine were also there- alongside Al Kolis and Lou Caponi from the LCCA. A great time was had by all of those who attended this Lionel/LCCA Special Event.
