LCCA - CTTG Joint Train Auction - August 25/26
Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) and The Colorado Toy Train Group, LLC (CTTG) will offer 750+ lots of pre-war, post-war, and modern era Standard Gauge and O-Gauge trains and accessories in our upcoming toy train auction in August.
The auction will be held on August 25th and 26th, 2012 at The Ranch Country Club in Westminster, Colorado. Viewing begins each day at 8 am, with the auction starting at 9 am daily.
Lionel trains are featured, along with a solid offering of Ives and American Flyer Wide Gauge, early MTH-Lionel Standard Gauge; and O Gauge trains from Ives, Lionel, and MTH. In Standard Gauge, there are 11 electric engines, 5 steam engines, 23+ lots of passenger cars, and 35+ lots of freight cars. O Gauge bidders will find 22 post-war diesels, 35 pre and post-war steam engines, 28 MPC and modern-era diesel and steam engines, 150 lots of freight cars, and 45 lots of passenger cars. Additionally, there are over 100 lots of Standard and O Gauge accessories, track, and transformers.
Some of the highlights include: Lionel Standard Gauge: 8E, 150, 281E, 380, 385E, 408E, and 490 engines, and 200, 300, 400, and 500 series cars. Accessories include: 69, 92, 94, 122, 124, 134, 300, and 840. Additionally, T-Repro items, such as: 116, 129, 200, and 444.
Also in the auction are an Ives 3250 loco, and rolling stock. Early MTH-Lionel Standard Gauge trains include 9E, 381E, 400E, and 408E engines, along with signals and accessories.
Lionel post-war includes: 671, 675, 681, 73, 1654, 2016, 2020, 2026, and 2037 steamers; sets 1666, 1882; and diesels 41, 53, 205, 210, 225, 624, 632, 634, 1055, 2350, 205, 1055, 2023, 2033, and 2321. Accessories include: KW, ZW, 97, 352, 397, 455, 456, 460, 3656, and Super O track. Additionally, rolling stock includes: 2400, 2500, and 6464 series freight cars. Also there is a wide variety of Lionel catalogs, and paper including, Modelmaker Magazine.
Modern Lionel is well represented with: Great Northern, Blue Comet, Southern Crescent, US Navy, Super Chief, Lake Shore Limited, engines, cars, and sets. Also included is the 16087 NYC 50th Anniversary Set. Rolling stock includes 7600, 9700, and 9800 series reefers and boxcars, along with 8250, 8550, 8556, 8566, 8654, and 8851 diesels.
