June Special Events Calendar
Attention LCCA members! As we approach the summer season, we are very excited to be hosting several LCCA Special Events in cities all around the country. We are especially excited about our June 9, 2012 event at TM Books Video Studio outside of Michigan City, Indiana. Make your plans to attend this rare and special event. If you are in Indiana, Michigan or the Chicago area during the June 9 weekend, make the time to join us for this once in a lifetime event. LCCA members and their families will get a behind the scene glimpse of the TM Book Video production facility, a chance to see the rarely seen and private, massive toy train collection of Tom McComas, and 7 operating toy train layouts. The price of admission will include admission to the nearby Hesston Steam Museum and live steam train rides on three different gauges, including a narrow gauge Shay. In addition to these great activities, members will have an opportunity to meet with Lionel's Director of Customer Service, Mike Reagan. Mike will talk, demonstrate and be available for questions and answers regarding Lionel's products and customer services.
Come and see where the world famous and popular "I love Toy Trains", "Lionel Nation", "Lionel Christmas" and other TM video series were produced. Jeffrey McComas, who is now all grown up may be in attendance.

LCCA's 42nd Annual Convention!
It is still not too late to sign up for our largest and longest running LCCA Special Event of the year, the LCCA's 42nd Annual Convention in Norfolk VA July 23-28, 2012. If you have never been to an LCCA convention, I suggest that you try to make this one. I guarantee you will have F. U. N. Convention Managers "Captain Bob" Carter, "Captain Chaos" Caponi and the entire convention volunteer team have been working very hard to make this the most enjoyable and fun event as possible. There will be something of interest for the entire family. There will be no shortage of Lionel toy trains in operation all week long at our Marriott Waterside host hotel. If you like real trains, toy trains and non-train related fun activities, you are going to love this convention. Make your family summer vacation plans now. The LCCA is very proud be hosting a Special Event on Friday, July 27, at 4:00 PM at the Marriott Waterside hotel in Norfolk VA. Lionel's President and CEO Jerry Calabrese has agreed to meet with our LCCA members and convention attendees for a private Question and Answer session.
