Lionel Announces New VisionLine Class A Locomotive exclusively for LCCA
The LCCA is again able to offer an exclusive LIonel VisionLine engine to its members. This year it is the CLASS A locomotive popular from its work on the Norfolk & Western but also used on the Pittsburgh & West Virginia and the Seaboard Air Line (merging with the Atlantic Coast Line) eventually becoming part of CSX Railroad. It comes with a cab number unique for LCCA members
This engine, with its generic title of Class A locomotive was equipped with the best the late steam period could offer. Lionel has produced a model with the best features of our time. Check the features list of this magnificent machine. It has new tooling, and special features specific to this unit number plus the additional features which come with VisionLine locomotives. The Norfolk and Western and others built over 40 of these monsters. Lionel will be producing one of this units (Number 1222) exclusively for the LCCA and its members as a special and unique offering. This unit will have road number specific details. As a recognition of its value, members who purchase this engine will receive a full year membership (or membership renewal).
This LCCA Exclusive has 4-digit addressing and will be compatible with Lionel's new Base3 radio and Cab3 App.

The price of $1,775 includes a one-year renewal for existing members or a one-year membership for new or restated members. Scheduled delivery has not been announced.
