LCCA Rides the South Shore
On May 15, LCCA member Patrick Cudzilo is organizing a special event on the South Shore railroad for all LCCA members. We will start at Millennium Station and continue on to the South Bend Airport. We will be taking the eastbound train 503 which leaves at 8:40am from Millennium Station. You may board at any station and ride as long as you like. You will need to buy your own ticket before boarding. There are vending machines for tickets at each station or you can buy one from the conductor or on the website. The train should arrive in South Bend at about 12:10 pm and at that destination you will be able to purchase lunch, or you can bring your own. Then we will re-board the westbound 506 train at 1:05 pm.
Please make sure you wear LCCA gear or any Lionel or railroad shirt. Please try to find a seat in the second to the last car. I will be boarding at the East Chicago station and will ride to South Bend and back to East Chicago. I will have on a blue LCCA hat. Once you find me, I will have a sign in sheet! Please let me know if you plan on coming. As always, bring a friend!
