January 24-25, 2015 - LCCA A Day of Fun with Toy Trains - Denver, CO

LCCA and the Colorado Toy Train Group, LLC (CTTG) will host their third A Day of Fun with Toy Trains Special Event on Saturday and Sunday, January 24th and 25th, 2015. This year’s event will be at the Pinehurst County Club, 6255 Quincy Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80235. Attendees will be excited to see toy train layouts operating in G, HO, N, O, S, and Z Gauges. more

Rich and Kathy Dissosway (LCCA Member RM 28158) will host their 10th Annual Christmas Holiday Train Party and Open House at their home in Lewisville, NC on Saturday December 13th from 4:00 P.M. to midnight. All LCCA members and their families and friends are invited to attend free of charge. more

Nov 1, 2014 - Halloween Train Party at Mr. Muffin's Trains in Carmel, IN

The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) invites you, your family and friends to a Halloween train party at Mr. Muffins Trains in Carmel IN on Saturday, November 1, 10 AM to 4 PM. Kids that come dressed in costume will receive a raffle ticket and be entered into a drawing. Some lucky winners will receive toy train product raffle prizes. Come and experience the fantastic toy train operating layout at Mr. Muffins Trains. more

Dec 6, 2014 Home Layout Tour, Houston, TX

Fellow LCCA member Glen Rosenbaum will be showing and running his O gauge Houston, Wharton & Pecos Railroad to LCCA and TCA Members in the Houston Metro Area on December 6, 2014, from 2 to 5 PM. This will be an extension of Roger and Dorcie Farkash’s TW TrainWorx annual layout festival that was held this past September 27th in Dallas. more

Nov 7-9 - Concord NC - LCCA Joins Lionel at November Open House Event

The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) Invites you to attend Lionel’s 3rd Annual Open House event (Warehouse Sale) at their facility in Concord NC on November 7-9, 2014. The Friday evening event on November 7 is limited to RCCA & LCCA members only (including recent new member from the LRRC). Saturday and Sunday’s event (Nov 8-9) is open to public. Sept 27 - Dallas TX - Third Annual TW TrainWorx Layout Festival (recap)

September 27, 2014, was an interesting and fun-filled train day at the TrainWorx studio when LCCA Director Roger Farkash opened his doors to the train loving public. More than forty LCCA members were present throughout the day! The big attraction was the large BNSF display which is usually only seen at BNSF functions and the Berkshire Hathaway stockholders event. This beautiful Lionel layout, which typically is not shown publicly, definitely was the hit of the show. more

Sept 27-28 - LCCA modules at the Tidewater Train Show, Norfolk VA (recap)

Charles Alford (from the Eastern Carolina Railroaders) and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the folks form Kids Run Trains this Saturday at Norfolk. The modular layout ran perfectly and a great number of people enjoyed the modules. I also enjoyed talking with Harry and Bridget Hampton from LCCA; All in all it was a great weekend of trains at Norfolk. more

LCCA - October 26, 2014 - First Freeze Train Show & Swap Meet Green Bay, WI

LCCA member Bob Leonowicz (RM 30670) and the Northeastern Wisconsin O-Gaugers will host their Fifth annual "First Freeze Train Show and Swap Meet" in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Sunday, October 26, 2014. If you are in that area, consider attending this event. It will be a good opportunity to meet fellow LCCA members and start the holiday season off with fun with Lionel trains. more

December 20, 2014 (Saturday) - LCCA Holiday Special Event In LeLand IA

Lionel Collectors Club of America Members Bob Ver Hoef and Pam Richardson invite all LCCA members and their families to a Holiday season celebration on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm CST. Bring your trains and run them on Bob’s new LCCA display and layout. Come and celebrate the holiday season and join Bob and Pam for a dutch treat lunch event. more
