CONVENTION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
How many registrations do I pay for if I want to bring my spouse and/or children?		Every LCCA member must register (and pay the registration fee) for the Convention. No registration charge is made for the spouse, significant other or children under 18 years of age who are residing at the same address of the member.
Can I register online?		Online convention registration is available to members in the Members Only area of the website.
How do I qualify for the registraion gift?		In order to receive the special registration gift, you must be in the first 400 registered convention members and be a registered guest of the hotel UNLESS your primary residence is within 50 miles of the host hotel.
If I register but don't attend the Convention and I'm within the first 400 registered members, will my special gift be sent to me?		No, you must be present at the convention to receive the special registration gift. These gifts are intended for those members who support the club by attending our annual conventions. Members may not pick up gifts for other registered conventioneers who are not present.
What is the refund policy on convention registration fees?		Convention fees will be refunded up to June 30th. After June 30th, no refunds will be made.
What do I receive at the convention when I pick up my packet?		You will receive your registration gift (if qualified), all of your tour tickets, your meal tickets and identification badges which are required to be worn at all events.
Are there reserved seats at the banquet?		Yes. It is important that people reserve their banquet seat. You will have the opportunity to reserve your place at the banquet in the registration area mid-week. To avoid duplicate reserved seats, we cannot allow you to reserve seating for other members at your table unless you have communicated with them and have their complete names and member numbers.
When is the trading hall open?		The trading hall is open on Friday evening and all day Saturday. The Trading Hall will be open for trading starting on Friday night at 6 PM for registered convention attendees only. This registered-only trading will continue until 9 PM. The Trading Hall will be open to the general public and LCCA members not registered for the Convention on Saturday starting at 9:00 AM until closing at 4 PM. Non-registered LCCA members will be admitted to the Trading Hall free of charge on Saturday with a current membership card.
What does it cost to visit the trading hall?		General admission on Saturday is $5 with children 12 and under free.
What can I expect as a trading hall dealer at the Convention?		Dealer Trading Hall information: Check-In - Prior to setup, all dealers must complete convention registration and check with the Trading Hall coordinator for table assignments. Trading Hall Assistant - Those dealers who require assistance from non-convention attendees are allowed to have two Trading Hall assistants. The Trading Hall assistant must be registered at the time of check in and will be charged a $10 registration fee. The Trading Hall assistant will be issued a unique convention badge for the Trading Hall only, which must be worn at all times. Trading Hall assistants are not permitted to attend other convention activities. Load-In - The Trading Hall provides for ground level load-in and load-out. Setup for the Trading Hall will commence at 7:00 AM on Friday and continue until 5 PM. At that time, the Trading Hall will be vacated. Dealers will be readmitted to the Trading Hall at 5:45, prior to member trading at 6:00 PM. Table Size - Trading Hall tables are 8 feet long and 30 inches wide (in most cases). Security - Security will be provided for the Trading Hall beginning with load-in and lasting through load-out. Load-Out - Trading Hall load-out will occur from 9:00 AM through 12:00 noon on Sunday.
Is smoking allowed?		Smoking is prohibited in all LCCA activities and is only permitted in designated areas outside the convention area of the hotel.
Where do all LCCA tours depart?		All LCCA tours will leave and return to hotel at the designated tour departure area.
What if I need adjourning rooms?		The host hotel generally offers connecting rooms for those families that need more than one adjoining room. You must request this at the time of registration.
What parking is available at the host hotel?		Parking at the host hotel is free for registered guests of the hotel.
