Pegs, Washer, and Screws for articulate conversion
Pegs, Washer, and Screws for articulate conversion are provided with the 2016 LCCA on-site car. This packet includes the 4 pegs, 3 screws and spacer washer to correctly combine two recent vintage container cars into one articulated unit.
The four pegs are inserted into either the bottom of the top unit or the top of the bottom unit in the holes provided. Once the pins are in place, the containers can be stacked.
Note,on older units ( a decade or more) the pegs were glued into the top container and stayed there. On newer units, the pegs come in a plastic bag and are assembled as used.
