February 20 & 21, 2016 - LCCA Attend WGHOT Train show San Antonio (Recap)

This was a successful show for LCCA. Our booth was crowed on both days. We signed up 10 new Members, 2 Jr Members and 24 members signed in and they walked away with a billboard frame, a sheet of billboard inserts and an LCCA pin. Lenny the Lion was busy both days greeting the children and having his picture taken with them as well as with the adults. When it comes to trains the “children” come in all ages. We had a lot of youngsters wearing the Lionel engineer caps sold at the LCCA booth and it was fun watching their faces as they “drove” the trains around the LCCA/Lionel modular layout. The hottest selling items in the booth was the Lionel engineers cap and the wooden steam whistle. You could see the kids wearing the hats all around the hall and hearing the “whoo-whoo” of the whistles. The pictures below really tell the story.
