May 16, 2015 - Armed Forces Day Open House Train Event in Parkersburg WV


Lionel Collectors Club of America members Mark Suek and Bill Ammann welcome guests and fellow LCCA members to the Mid-Ohio Valley Model Railroad Club's annual Armed Forces Day Open House on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the club facility, located inside NOE Office Equipment at 610 Green Street in historic downtown Parkersburg, WV. Trains will be running on seven large, detailed layouts in O, S, HO, N and G gauges. There will be raffle prizes and light refreshments available. Admission and onsite parking are free. MOVMRC members will be on hand to discuss model railroading, layout construction and everything trains. The model railroad club is adjacent to CSX's Sixth Street High Yard and the tracks (former B&O main) run right past the parking lot. Parkersburg is located on the Ohio River in northwestern West Virginia and is an easy drive from Columbus, OH and Pittsburgh, PA.
