November 7-9 - LCCA at TrainFest 2014, Milwaukee, WI (Recap)

The LCCA returned to Milwaukee to attend 2014 TrainFest, one of the premier train shows in the country. Part Train show, part hobby show, part layout tour - and a general good time for the whole family!

LCCA President Dennis DeVito and a team of LCCA volunteers. Mike Throndsen, Chester Kuzminski, Tim Fuhrmann, Judy Fuhrmann, Jack Reinholz and Chuck Look all had fun representing the club at this fantastic event. Our team welcomed all LCCA members, both the existing members and the new LCCA members who joined our fine organization from the LRRC. The LCCA display featuring our Mini Layout which was designed and built by TW Design of Dallas TX attracted a crowd all weekend long. Our booth was set up adjacent to Lionel’s display and Team Lionel consisting of Matt Ashba, Lauren Morris and Bill Wander. Team Lionel introduced their new Lion Chief Plus starter sets to thousands of visitors. It was a great experience for all of our members and guests. They truly felt the Magic of Lionel Trains1 It was another great event for the LCCA! Thank you volunteers and all of our LCCA members and guest for participating in this fun event.
