Sept 27-28 - LCCA modules at the Tidewater Train Show, Norfolk VA (recap)
Charles Alford (from the Eastern Carolina Railroaders) and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the folks form Kids Run Trains this Saturday at Norfolk. The modular layout ran perfectly and a great number of people enjoyed the modules. I also enjoyed talking with Harry and Bridget Hampton from LCCA; All in all it was a great weekend of trains at Norfolk.
Russ, It was great to meet you finally!! Let's keep each other posted on progress of our groups' modular layout activity. The Eastern Carolina Railroaders will set up our modular layout in Greenville on Saturday Oct 18 at the St Timothy's Lobster Fair and will set up at the TCA meet in Raleigh on the first weekend in December.. I am beginning construction of 4 more modules for our group later next week. I hope your group will be able to join us for a joint train show in Raleigh and I am looking forward to putting together a combined layout of Kids Run Trains and the Eastern Carolina Railroaders next spring.
