The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) is proud to announce a new club-sponsored product: a modern re-make of Santa Fe #208 ALCo diesel A-A units in the “other” Santa Fe paint scheme. This special product by Lionel bears the distinctive blue and yellow and red décor of its freight service. It will be strictly limited to only 400 available units. The locomotives have these modern features:
- Front pilot supports
- TMCC™ with horn and bell sounds
- Headlight on leading A unit
- Headlight lenses on both units
- Ornamental roof horns
- New front-wheel-drive system
- Windshields
- Postwar style design on the boxes
