Delay in Shipping the 2011 Convention Car
Our Product Design Manager, Lou Caponi, has just said "although our 2011 Convention Car - The Texas Special "Texas Traveler" has arrived at our shpping facility and ready to ship, they are in the wrong cartons. We are working with Lionel to resolve this issue as fast as we can."
The business office has already started to process the 2nd half payment from members who requested the two payment plan. If you have not make your payment, please contact the business office.
Our Product Development Manager (and President Elect) Lou Caponi has approved the 7th production sample provided by the factory. The car looks GREAT!
Many thanks to the members who supported the 2011 Convention Car. It was worth the wait. There are plans for a Texas Special 622 switcher and for the first time a Texas Special 622 switcher calf. For those who purchased the car, the new 622 switcher and calf will make a wonderful highly collectable set.
