Coal Mine Loop - D&RGW freight with LCCA D&RGW woodside caboose trailing makes it's way through Coal MIne Loop's tunnels on the upper end of the helix reverse loop. The layout is signaled and interlocked at all sidings, junctions, crossovers, and yards which controls the operation of up to four trains traveling in any combination of directions along the mainline. Switching operations and movements in the yards and terminals can be performed independent of mainline operation.
